Illinois High School Baseball - Midwest Central loses to Mt. Pulaski
April 17, 2025: Manito, IL 61546 Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Midwest Central Raiders (Manito, IL), 14-1 in a league match.
With the triumph, Mt. Pulaski advances its record to 10-2 on the season. The Hilltoppers host Lexington (Lexington, IL) to battle the Minutemen in a non-league match on Saturday, April 19. The Minutemen come into the match with a record of 6-7. Lexington lost 7-6 in their recent league match against Eureka (Eureka, IL)
The Raiders now have a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Farmington for a non-league match on Friday, April 18. Midwest Central will battle a Farmers squad coming off a 17-0 non-league win over ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL). The Farmers record now stands at 12-3.
