April 17, 2025: LaGrange, IL 60525 Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Lane Tech Champions (Chicago, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lyons moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Addison Trail (Addison, IL) to clash with the Blazers in a non-league test on Monday, April 21. The Blazers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Addison Trail won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL)
The Champions now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maine South for a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. Lane Tech will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 6-0.
