April 17, 2025: Mahwah, NJ 07430 Mahwah Thunderbirds (Mahwah, NJ) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the visiting Ramapo Raiders (Franklin Lakes, NJ), 10-9 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Mahwah improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ) to play the Chiefs in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 22. The Chiefs come into the game with a record of 2-5. Caldwell won 13-12 in their recent non-league game against Montville (Montville, NJ)
The Raiders now have a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Providence for a non-league game on Tuesday, April 22. Ramapo will play a Pioneers team coming off a 11-10 league loss to Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-2.
