New Jersey High School Lacrosse - Scotch Plains-Fanwood nips New Providence
April 17, 2025: New Providence, NJ 07924 The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the host New Providence Pioneers to 10 in the Raiders league triumph on Thursday.
The Raiders now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Ridge for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 19. Scotch Plains-Fanwood will clash with a Red Devil squad coming off a 13-8 league win over Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, NJ). The Red Devil record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, New Providence falls to 5-2 on the year. The Pioneers host Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Ramapo lost 10-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Mahwah (Mahwah, NJ)
