Georgia High School Soccer - Upson-Lee toppled by First Presbyterian Day
April 17, 2025: Thomaston, GA 30286 First Presbyterian Day Vikings (Macon, GA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA), 7-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, First Presbyterian Day moves its record to 14-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Stratford Academy (Macon, GA) to meet the Eagles in a GIAA AAA/AAAA District 6 test on Tuesday, April 22. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 11-1. Stratford Academy won 9-0 in their recent league test against Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA)
The Knights now sport a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Greene County for a non-league test on Friday, April 18. Upson-Lee will meet a Tigers team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Athens Christian (Athens, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-11.
