The West Rowan Falcons baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings to 1 in the Falcons non-league win on Thursday.

The Falcons now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host East Rowan for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. West Rowan will play a Mustangs team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-4.

With the defeat, Central Cabarrus drops to 6-6 on the year. The Vikings host Robinson (Concord, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22.
