The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) and the visiting Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ), saw Desert Edge's baseball team beat Paradise Valley by a margin of 5-3.

The Scorpions (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ). The Knights enter the non-league battle with a 11-2 record.

Next, the Trojans face the Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) in a battle, on Tuesday, April 22. Paradise Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Vipers enter the battle with a 9-3 record after their 6-3 league loss to Canyon View (Waddell, AZ).
