In Thursday's league contest, the host New Oxford Colonials lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-7 win over the York Catholic Fighting Irish.

The Colonials (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Grove (Spring Grove, PA). The Rockets enter the York Area 1 contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Spring Grove nipped Kennard-Dale (Fawn Grove, PA), 12-6, in a league contest.

Next, the Fighting Irish meet the York Suburban Trojans (York, PA) in a York Area 1 contest, on Tuesday, April 22. York Catholic will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 3-10 record after their 13-1 league loss to Delone Catholic (McSherrystown, PA).
