In Thursday's league match, the host Poston Butte Broncos softball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the ALA - Queen Creek Patriots.

The Broncos (16-8) will now prepare for their match against Eastmark (Mesa, AZ). The Firebirds go into the 4A East Sky match with a 16-7 record. In their last match, Eastmark was routed by Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ), 8-6, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Crismon Rattlers (Queen Creek, AZ) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 21. ALA - Queen Creek will attempt to better on its 11-14 season record. The Rattlers go into the match with a 19-7 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Prescott (Prescott, AZ).
