Arkansas High School Softball - Atkins can't get by Glen Rose
April 17, 2025: Malvern, AR 72104 Glen Rose Beavers (Malvern, AR) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Atkins Red Devils (Atkins, AR), 5-4 in a league game.
With the triumph, Glen Rose upgrades its record to 6-4 on the year. The Beavers host Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR) to play the Eagles in a 3A Region 5 game on Friday, April 18. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 8-3. Baptist Prep won 8-3 in their recent league game against Perryville (Perryville, AR)
The Red Devils now own a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Jessieville for a 3A Region 5 game on Friday, April 18. Atkins will play a Lions squad coming off a 17-5 non-league loss to Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR). The Lions record now stands at 2-9.
