Alabama High School Softball - Benjamin Russell bounces Handley
April 17, 2025: Alexander City, AL 35010 The Benjamin Russell Wildcats softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Handley Tigers to 1 in the Wildcats non-league win on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 15-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holtville for a non-league battle on Friday, April 18. Benjamin Russell will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 12-2 league win over Brewbaker Tech (Montgomery, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-11.
With the loss, Handley moves to 14-17 on the season. The Tigers travel to Elmore County (Eclectic, AL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league battle on Friday, April 18. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 17-14. Elmore County lost 10-8 in their recent non-league battle against Saint James (Montgomery, AL)
