Arizona High School Softball - Mountain Ridge held off by Boulder Creek

In Thursday's league test, the Boulder Creek Jaguars (Anthem, AZ) softball squad got by the visiting Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ), by a tally of 3-2.

Next, the Jaguars clash with the Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ) in a 6A Desert Valley test, on Tuesday, April 22. Boulder Creek will attempt to advance on its 19-6 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 6-14 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Perry (Gilbert, AZ).

The Mountain Lions (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Pioneers go into the 6A Desert Valley battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, Pinnacle nipped O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ), 7-0, in a league battle.
