In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Central Christian Comets softball team scored a nice 14-4 win over the Open Door Christian Patriots.

The Comets (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Lucas (Lucas, OH). The Cubs come into the Mid Buckeye match with a 3-6 record.

In their next game, the Patriots confront the Wellington Dukes (Wellington, OH) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 25. Open Door Christian will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record.
