New Mexico High School Softball - Estancia bounces Sandia Prep

In Thursday's non-league test, the Estancia Bears (Estancia, NM) softball squad overwhelmed the host Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM), by a tally of 17-2.

Next, the Bears clash with the Logan Longhorns (Logan, NM) in a A/2A District 6 test, on Monday, April 21. Estancia will attempt to advance on its 14-2 season record. The Longhorns go into the test with a 0-8 record after their 23-8 league loss to Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM).

The Sundevils (3-15) will now prepare for their test against Dexter (Dexter, NM). The Demons go into the 3A District 4/5 test with a 17-1 record. In their last test, Dexter prevailed over East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM), 15-0, in a league test.
