In Thursday's non-league test, the First Academy Eagles (Leesburg, FL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hernando Christian Academy Lions (Brooksville, FL), by a tally of 16-1.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Crescent City Raiders (Crescent City, FL) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 21. First Academy will attempt to advance on its 10-8 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 8-13 record after their 21-0 non-league loss to Umatilla (Umatilla, FL).

The Lions (1-13) will now prepare for their test against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic (Spring Hill, FL). The Hurricanes go into the non-league test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic was routed by Fivay (Hudson, FL), 23-7, in a non-league test.
