Houston Christian Mustangs (Houston, TX) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting First Baptist Christian Warriors (Pasadena, TX), 16-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Houston Christian improves its record to 14-9 on the year. The Mustangs host Episcopal (Bellaire, TX) to play the Knights in a Southwest Prep - South game on Wednesday, April 23. The Knights enter the game with a record of 16-3. Episcopal won 2-1 in their recent non-league game against St. Agnes Academy (Houston, TX)

The Warriors now hold a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Covenant Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, April 22.
