April 17, 2025: Plainville, CT 06062 Plainville Blue Devils (Plainville, CT) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT), 18-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Plainville upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to RHAM (Hebron, CT) to play the Raptors in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 22. The Raptors enter the game with a record of 1-2. RHAM lost 16-0 in their recent non-league contest against Ellington (Ellington, CT)
The Gladiators now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Windham RVT for a Connecticut Tech contest on Monday, April 21. Goodwin Tech will face a Mighty Tigers squad coming off a 7-5 league loss to Wilcox RVT (Meriden, CT). The Mighty Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
