Arizona High School Softball - Horizon bounces Mountain Pointe

April 17, 2025: Phoenix, AZ 85044

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Horizon Huskies softball team scored a tight 11-5 victory over the Mountain Pointe Pride.

The Huskies (9-8) will now prepare for their match against Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ). The Firebirds go into the 5A East Sky match with a 11-15 record. In their last match, Chaparral was routed by Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ), 10-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Pride battle the Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 22. Mountain Pointe will attempt to better on its 7-17 season record. The Scorpions go into the match with a 9-12 record after their 14-1 non-league win over Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ).
