Illinois High School Softball - McCracken County bounces Marion
April 17, 2025: Marion, IL 62959 The McCracken County Mustangs softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Marion Wildcats to 3 in the Mustangs non-league win on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caldwell County for a non-league battle on Friday, April 18. McCracken County will confront a Tigers team coming off a 11-0 league win over Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Marion moves to 9-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL) to confront the Spartans in a non-league battle on Friday, April 18. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 11-4. St. Joseph-Ogden won 14-0 in their recent league battle against Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL)
