Virginia High School Softball - McLean bounces Southwestern
April 17, 2025: McLean, VA 22101 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) and the visiting Southwestern Trojans (Jamestown, NY), observed McLean's softball team prevail over Southwestern by a tally of 14-1.
The Highlanders (10-0) will now prepare for their bout against Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA). The Generals go into the Liberty bout with a 3-6 record.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Jamestown Red & Green (Jamestown, NY) in a Chautaqua / Cattaragus I West bout, on Monday, April 21. Southwestern will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Red & Green go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 16-0 non-league loss to Chautauqua Lake (Mayville, NY).
