The West Central Trojans softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Washington Township Senators to 0 in the Trojans non-league win on Thursday.

The Trojans now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morgan Township for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 19. West Central will confront a Cherokees team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN). The Cherokees record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Washington Township moves to 1-3 on the season. The Senators travel to Tri-Township (LaCrosse, IN) to confront the Tigers in a Porter County battle on Friday, April 18.
