The crowd at Friday's league battle between the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) and the visiting Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC), saw South Stokes's baseball team gain a win over Bishop McGuinness by a tally of 9-1.

The Sauras (14-6) will now prepare for their battle against South Davidson (Denton, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 6-12 record. In their last battle, South Davidson was overwhelmed by North Stokes (Danbury, NC), 11-6, in a league battle.

Next, the Villains face the Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC) in a Greater Triad 1A/2A battle, on Tuesday, April 21. Bishop McGuinness will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record.
