The Katella Knights (Anaheim, CA) baseball trounced the visiting Laguna Hills Hawks (Laguna Hills, CA), 9-3 in Friday's league challenge.

The Knights now own a 11-10 record. They take the field next when they host Ocean View for a Empire challenge on Tuesday, April 21. Katella will clash with a Seahawks team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Artesia (Lakewood, CA). The Seahawks record now stands at 6-14.

With the defeat, Laguna Hills drops to 10-11 on the year. The Hawks host University (Irvine, CA) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 20. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 6-12. University lost 8-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA)
