The Comets now hold a 21-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morris Jeff Community for a 2A District 11 outing on Tuesday, April 19.
Next, the Lions confront the Vermilion Catholic Eagles (Abbeville, LA) in a 1A District 8 outing, on Wednesday, April 20. Covenant Christian Academy will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 4-7 record after their 9-3 non-league win over Delcambre (Delcambre, LA).
