Alabama High School Softball - Red Bay holds off Colbert County
April 18, 2022: Leighton, AL 35646 Red Bay Tigers (Red Bay, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Belgreen for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 21.
With the loss, Colbert County falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Indians host East Lawrence (Trinity, AL) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 8-7.
