Elgin Comets (Marion, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Ridgedale Rockets (Morral, OH), 25-0 in a league test.

With the win, Elgin upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Comets travel to Cardington-Lincoln (Cardington, OH) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Thursday, April 20. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 3-6. Cardington-Lincoln lost 5-0 in their recent league test against East Knox (Howard, OH)

With the defeat, Ridgedale falls to 0-5 on the season. The Rockets host Upper Scioto Valley (McGuffey, OH) to battle the Rams in a Northwest Central test on Monday, April 24. The Rams come into the test with a record of 2-8.
