Alabama High School Soccer - Opelika knocks off Beauregard
April 18, 2023: Opelika, AL 36801 Opelika Bulldogs (Opelika, AL) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Beauregard Hornets (Opelika, AL), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the Smiths Station Panthers (Smiths, AL) in a 7A Area 4 challenge, on Thursday, April 20. Opelika will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Central (Phenix City, AL).
The Hornets now possess a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 20. Beauregard will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Smiths Station (Smiths, AL). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-12.
