April 18, 2023: Big Lake, MN 55309 The Big Lake Hornets (Big Lake, MN) softball nipped the visiting Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN), 5-4 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Hornets (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Becker (Becker, MN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Becker held off Princeton (Princeton, MN), 6-2, in a non-league bout.
The Magic now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to North Branch for a Mississippi 8 bout on Thursday, April 20.
