Tennessee High School Softball - Mount Juliet bounces Cookeville
April 18, 2023: Cookeville, TN 38501 Mount Juliet Golden Bears (Mt. Juliet, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Cookeville Cavaliers (Cookeville, TN), 12-2 in a league challenge.
The Golden Bears now own a 12-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockvale for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 21. Mount Juliet will face a squad coming off a 7-3 league loss to Riverdale (Murfreesboro, TN). The record now stands at 4-8.
With the loss, Cookeville falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Lebanon (Lebanon, TN) to face the Blue Devils in a 4A District 9 challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 4-11. Lebanon won 21-3 in their recent non-league challenge against LaVergne (LaVergne, TN)
