Washington High School Softball - Ferndale gets by Nooksack Valley
April 18, 2023: Ferndale, WA 98248 The Ferndale Golden Eagles got by the visiting Nooksack Valley Pioneers softball squad by a count of 10-9 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Golden Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Blaine (Blaine, WA). The Borderites go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Blaine nudged Lynden (Lynden, WA), 8-4, in a league battle.
The Pioneers now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they host College Place for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 20. Nooksack Valley will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 16-6 league win over Connell (Connell, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-6.
