Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Fountain Valley Barons (Fountain Valley, CA) and the host Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA), witnessed Fountain Valley's softball squad prevail over Newport Harbor by a count of 17-0.

The Barons now sport a 13-10 record. They play next when they travel to Edison for a Sunset match on Thursday, April 20. Fountain Valley will face a Chargers squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 15-9.

With the loss, Newport Harbor moves to 5-17 on the season. The Sailors host Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA) to face the Oilers in a Sunset match on Thursday, April 20.
