River Valley Mustangs (Three Oaks, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Howardsville Christian Eagles (Marcellus, MI), 10-5 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Michigan Lutheran for a Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White challenge on Friday, April 21.

With the loss, Howardsville Christian falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Marcellus (Marcellus, MI) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
