Texas High School Softball - Lufkin felled by Kingwood Park
April 18, 2023: Lufkin, TX 75901 In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Kingwood Park Panthers softball team scored a nice 9-1 win over the Lufkin Panthers.
Coming up next, the Panthers encounter the Dayton Broncos (Dayton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 16 outing, on Friday, April 21. Kingwood Park will attempt to improve on its 22-10 season record. The Broncos enter the outing with a 17-15 record after their 8-1 league win over Huntsville (Huntsville, TX).
The Panthers (15-15) will now prepare for their outing against Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX). The Dragons enter the 5A Region II District 16 outing with a 7-12 record. In their last outing, Nacogdoches was routed by Porter (Porter, TX), 10-2, in a league outing.
