New York High School Softball - Ossining holds off New Rochelle
April 18, 2023: Ossining, NY 10562 Ossining Pride (Ossining, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting New Rochelle Huguenots (New Rochelle, NY), 12-10 in a non-league challenge.
The Pride now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fox Lane for a Section 1 I - D challenge on Thursday, April 20. Ossining will face a Foxes squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Scarsdale (Scarsdale, NY). The Foxes record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, New Rochelle falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Huguenots host Lincoln (Yonkers, NY) to face the Lancers in a Section 1 II - A challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Lancers enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Lincoln lost 20-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Mahopac (Mahopac, NY)
