April 18, 2023: Lexington, NC 27295 In Tuesday's league contest, the Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC), by a margin of 14-7.
With the triumph, Oak Grove moves its record to 14-3 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Ledford (Thomasville, NC) to play the Panthers in a Mid-Piedmont 3A contest on Friday, April 21. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 9-5. Ledford won 18-3 in their recent non-league contest against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
In their next game, the Black Knights play the Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 20. North Davidson will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 12-3 record after their 24-0 league win over Hillside (Durham, NC).
