Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Canon-McMillan can't hold off Hempfield Area

April 18, 2024: Greensburg, PA 15601

In Thursday's league game, the host Hempfield Area Spartans baseball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Canon-McMillan Big Macs.

The Spartans (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA). The Blue Devils come into the WPIAL 6A 2 contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Mt. Lebanon got by Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA), 6-0, in a league contest.

The Big Macs now sport a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Baldwin for a WPIAL 6A 2 contest on Monday, April 22. Canon-McMillan will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-11.
