Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA), 8-6 in a league test.

With the win, Leigh upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Longhorns host Prospect (Saratoga, CA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 20. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 8-9. Prospect won 15-0 in their recent league test against Gilroy (Gilroy, CA)

With the defeat, Pioneer falls to 10-10 on the season. The Mustangs host Westmont (Campbell, CA) to battle the Warriors in a Mount Hamilton test on Tuesday, April 23. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 15-6. Westmont won 8-3 in their recent non-league test against Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA)
