Austin Catholic Crusaders (Chesterfield, MI) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit Jaguars (West Bloomfield, MI), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Crusaders confront the New Life Christian Academy Knights (Kimball, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 19. Austin Catholic will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Landmark Academy (Kimball, MI).

The Jaguars now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Academy of the Sacred Heart for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2.
