April 18, 2024: Joliet, IL 60435 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Saint Viator Lions (Arlington Heights, IL) and the host Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL), saw Saint Viator's soccer squad triumph over Joliet Catholic by a margin of 8-0.
The Lions now sport a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Marian Catholic for a East Suburban Catholic test on Saturday, April 20. Saint Viator will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Bremen (Midlothian, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 4-11.
With the loss, Joliet Catholic drops to 1-12 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Coal City (Coal City, IL) to meet the Coalers in a non-league test on Monday, April 22.
