April 18, 2024: North Kingstown, RI 02852 North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI), 15-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Skippers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host St. Raphael Academy for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20.
With the loss, Ponaganset falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 25. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
