Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Avon drops to Simsbury
April 18, 2024: Simsbury, CT 06070 Simsbury Trojans (Simsbury, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Avon Falcons (Avon, CT), 18-7 in a non-league battle.
The Trojans now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest Catholic for a Central Connecticut - Central battle on Saturday, April 20. Simsbury will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 12-9 league win over Conard (West Hartford, CT). The Lions record now stands at 4-0.
In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Guilford Grizzlies (Guilford, CT) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 20. Avon will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Grizzlies come into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 14-10 league loss to Notre Dame (West Haven, CT).
