Pennsylvania High School Lacrosse - Fox Chapel overwhelms Hempfield Area
April 18, 2024: Greensburg, PA 15601 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Fox Chapel Foxes (Pittsburgh, PA) and the host Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA), saw Fox Chapel's lacrosse team top Hempfield Area by a margin of 17-6.
The Foxes (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The Bulldogs enter the WPIAL 3A 2 challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Shady Side Academy beat Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA), 13-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Spartans (1-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA). The Vikings enter the WPIAL 3A 1 challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Central Catholic beat Moon Area (Moon Township, PA), 15-13, in a non-league challenge.
