The Lenape Valley Patriots lacrosse squad (Stanhope, NJ), was overwhelmed 5-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Newton Braves (Newton, NJ)

Coming up next, the Braves meet the Morris Catholic Crusaders (Denville, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 20. Newton will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 12-9 non-league win over North Warren Regional (Blairstown, NJ).

The Patriots now sport a 1-5 record. They play next when they host West Milford for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. Lenape Valley will meet a Highlanders squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to Paramus (Paramus, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-4.
