Kentucky High School Softball - Cooper bounces Boone County
April 18, 2024: Florence, KY 41042 Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY), 8-2 in a league challenge.
The Jaguars now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holy Cross for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. Cooper will battle a Indians squad coming off a 19-14 non-league win over Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY). The Indians record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Boone County falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Owen County (Owenton, KY) to battle the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19.
