April 18, 2024: Georgetown, DE 19947 The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Delmarva Christian Royals (Georgetown, DE) and the visiting Ursuline Academy Raiders (Wilmington, DE), saw Delmarva Christian's softball squad nip Ursuline Academy by a count of 8-1.
The Royals now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Archbishop Spalding for a non-league match on Saturday, April 20. Delmarva Christian will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 10-0 league win over McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Ursuline Academy falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Odyssey Charter (Wilmington, DE) to face the Owls in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 23. The Owls enter the match with a record of 5-3. Odyssey Charter won 7-0 in their recent non-league match against Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE)
