Maryland High School Softball - Mergenthaler Vo-Tech bounces Douglass
April 18, 2024: Baltimore, MD 21217 The Mergenthaler Vo-Tech Mustangs routed the host Douglass Mighty Ducks softball squad by a count of 17-12 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against City College (Baltimore, MD). The Black Knights go into the Baltimore City Division I battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, City College was routed by Old Mill (Millersville, MD), 15-5, in a non-league battle.
The Mighty Ducks now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Western for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 23. Douglass will meet a squad coming off a 22-8 non-league loss to City College (Baltimore, MD). The record now stands at 1-1.
