The Linsly School Cadets (Wheeling, WV) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV), 4-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, The Linsly School advances its record to 10-3 on the season. The Cadets travel to Morgantown (Morgantown, WV) to battle the Mohigans in a non-league match on Thursday, April 24. The Mohigans come into the match with a record of 12-8.

The Cougars now have a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Hardy for a non-league match on Saturday, April 19. Lincoln will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to Petersburg (Petersburg, WV). The Cougars record now stands at 2-6.
