In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Buchanan Bears volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Quartz Hill Royals.

The Bears (20-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Mendez (Los Angeles, CA). The Jaguars enter the non-league challenge with a 23-7 record. In their last challenge, Mendez beat Hollywood (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Royals meet the St. John Bosco Braves (Bellflower, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 18. Quartz Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 17-10 season record.
