Delaware High School Soccer - Woodbridge knocks off William Penn
April 18, 2025: Bridgeville, DE 19933 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Woodbridge Raiders (Bridgeville, DE) and the visiting William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE), saw Woodbridge's soccer squad knock off William Penn by a count of 5-2.
The Raiders (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Dover (Dover, DE). The Senators enter the non-league battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Dover by Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE), 6-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Colonials battle the McKean Highlanders (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 21. William Penn will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Highlanders enter the battle with a 0-7 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Christiana (Newark, DE).
