California High School Softball - Etiwanda held off by Upland
April 18, 2025: Upland, CA 91786 The Upland Highlanders/Scots got by the visiting Etiwanda Eagles softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Highlanders/Scots meet the Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 21. Upland will attempt to upgrade on its 16-2 season record. The Lancers go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 12-5 non-league win over South Hills (West Covina, CA).
The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA). The Wolverines go into the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Aliso Niguel was nudged by Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA), 7-6, in a league challenge.
